Hi, my name is Cindy and I am a southern girl by birth and by choice. I was born in the rolling hills of middle Tennessee, After I married, I lived in Alabama, North Carolina, Florida, Oklahoma, Florida (again), Tennessee (again), and Oklahoma (again). I love the south, the food, the music, the culture, and the slower pace. But most of all, I love my crazy southern friends and family.  In this blog I hope we can “break down” the barriers that keep people from understanding life below the Mason Dixon line. I welcome your ideas, stories, favorites, new products, and photos. I dedicate Bloggy Mountain Breakdown  to you, my fellow southerners and sojourners, let’s share our lives together.

To set the mood, listen to the song that inspired the title. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=foggy+mountain+breakdown&FORM=VIRE5#view=detail&mid=DE0E59FD5FDCC76F5A85DE0E59FD5FDCC76F5A85

  1. I have always laughed at my dad’s favorite saying when someone got hurt- “Had worse than that on my lip and never quit whistling.”
